Only available in 1979, the RS920 Roadstar Bass was made by the Fujigen factory in Japan. Double-cutaway solid ash body bolted to a rock maple neck (with "tuned response"), a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers and a matching natural headstock. Weighing just over 5.2kg's, it's equipped with a pair of Super 4 single coil pickup's with B-2 active electronics, an Accu-Cast B bridge with brass saddles and 19mm string spacing, a brass nut, chrome plated hardware and Hercules B tuning machines.
Seemingly all original except for a replacement three-way toggle, it's a beast of a bass with a huge tone thanks to the weight and electronics. The neck plays well and is straight with a fully functional truss and the frets are shiny with plenty of life left.
