A very rare one-off "Sample" model from Fender Japan that appears to have been made either for an event or as a prototype for a model that seemingly never made it to market!
Made in Japan in 2017, the TL69 was typically a '69 reissue of the Paisley/Blue Flower Telecaster. This one wears a "Wee Rothesay White" fabric print instead of the traditional floral pattern that was applied in the same way with a clear pickguard and a light burst around the edge. Solid basswood body with a 21 fret maple neck (7.25" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.2kg's. Loaded with Fender Japan pickups, full sized CTS pots and a three-section T6 bridge and Gotoh vintage style tuners, it appears to be all original.
Very good cosmetic condition with light wear from general use. The neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life left.
