One of the original and highly desireable JM-JM model Mascis signature model Jazzmasters made in Japan for a few years in the late 2000's. Purple Sparkle polyester finish on an alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius, 42mm nut width, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.8kg's. Factory loaded with an Adjust-o-matic bridge system, JM-Vintage pickups and classic Jazzmaster wiring, it features a set of aftermarket straplocks and a buzz-stop to add to the playing experience otherwise appears to be all original.
Good used condition as pictured with signs of wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The original medium-jumbo frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
