Made by the Tokai factory in 2007, the ST54-100LS was a '54 Reissue Stratocaster with factory Lace Sensor pickups and a Clapton style mid boost circuit. Alder body with a maple neck (pronounced V profile, 10" radius, 22 frets), weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector, the original active mid boost circuit gives more tonal variety than the traditional Stratocaster wiring.
Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should. The frets show some signs of wear but were polished and play smoothly. The serial number and the "crafted in Japan" insignia is damaged but the neck stamps on the body and neck match and the serial is still partially visible, Japanese musicians often removed this insignia as they wanted their guitars to be USA made..
