Made in South Korea in 2005 as part of the Ibanez JEM JR series.
The JEM555 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. The fretboard has Tree of Life vine inlays up to the twelfth fret and dot inlays above that. Loaded with a LO-TRS bridge and DiMarzio Evolution pickups, it looks to be all original and weighs 3.5kg's.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss works perfectly. The frets are shiny and smooth with life left and it plays great as it sits. There's a small repair near the scarf joint that was injected with glue and clamped so it's smooth to touch and rock solid with no movement.
