Made in Japan by ESP in 2005, the E-TE-98M was one of Edwards' "unbranded" artist replicas designed to emulate famous guitars from Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page and in this case; Keith Richards. The rumour is the headstock logo was never applied to these models to avoid any legal troubles, but there's no mistaking who made them when you check out the serial number.
Light weight ash body with relic patterns copied from the famous Micawber Telecaster bolted to a medium profile maple neck, it weighs 4kg's. Loaded with a Seymour Duncan SH-1n humbucker in the neck and a Seymour Duncan STL-1 bridge pickup with a gold 6-way bridge and Sperzel locking machine heads, this is a faithful reproduction of a truly iconic Telecaster.
Factory relic'd condition with only light signs of actual wear from general use, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.
