Made in the USA in 2001, the Thunderbird is one of Gibson's most popular designs. Vintage sunburst finish on a mahogany body with a neckthrough mahogany/walnut construction and an ebony fingerboard, it weighs just over 4kg's. Looks to be all original with Gibson branded tuners and pickups along with a black three-point bridge system.
Good overall condition with basic signs of wear and tear and some small cosmetic chips but no breaks or repairs. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss. There's some slight nitro burn on the edge of the body and the headstock as pictured.
