Made in Japan in 2000, the RD6CSD1 is part of a limited series of J Custom models which were designed at Ibanez's L. A. Custom Shop in California and built by the Fujigen factory.
Basswood body bolted to a maple and bubinga Super Wizard neck with a 24-fret selected rosewood fingerboard with a special inlay at the 12th fret. Components include a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a single active EMG humbucking pickup, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines. This one appears all original and weighs 3.4kg's.
Good overall condition with some light wear and tear from general use but no breaks or repairs, restrung and given a basic service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
