Made by the Dyna Gakki factory in 1999, the TL72 was a reissue of the regular '72 model Telecaster (rather than the more famous Thinline or Custom models from that era). This one wears the "US Blonde" finish on a basswood body with some beautiful grain showing through. Oval profile maple neck with a slab rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius, 21 frets), it weighs 3.5kg's.
Loaded with the original TL-CURRENT pickups from Fender Japan, it appears factory original with Gotoh tuners and a three-section ashtray style bridge.
Good used condition as pictured with some basic wear from general use including some bumps to the finish, no breaks or repairs to be seen though. Given a setup and service prior to listing, the frets play smoothly and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.
