Built in 1999, this is a very rare non-catalog model of Fender Japan's '75 Reissue Jazz Bass wearing an aged white finish. Made by the Tokai factory in Hamamatsu, it features an ash body with a maple neck (39mm nut width) and bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays and weighs 4.9kg's. Factory loaded with Fender Japan pickups and full sized Japanese pots, this one appears all original.
Well loved condition with a few dings to the body as pictured. Frets are shiny and play well with a fully adjustable truss and a straight neck. There's some separation of the finish along the skunk stripe that has been sanded back and buffed smooth so it's purely cosmetic and almost un-noticeable in the hand with no sharp edges.
