Made in Japan as part of the "Custom Edition" catalog in 1993, the ST57G-65 was a Fujigen built '57 reissue with some "custom shop" style factory upgrades. American Basswood body wearing a transparent "Charcoal Red" finish (Fender Japan's method for accentuating some of the grain), one-piece maple neck with a slim '57 profile (7.25" radius, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.5kg's.
The G at the end of the model number signifies the gold hardware including a diecast block bridge, vintage style tuners, Fender stamped saddles and the original factory ST-VINTAGE alnico single coils.
Good used condition as pictured with some light wear and tear from general use and a few cosmetic dings, appears all original. The frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
