Made in Japan in the mid 1990's, the Fender Japan JD model was a rare (and accurate) replica of Jerry Donahue's Telecaster. Bound alder body with a lacquer sunburst finish bolted to a pronounced V maple neck, weighs 3.2kg's. 5-way switch and two single coil pickups give a huge range of tones, one saddle looks to have been replaced otherwise the hardware looks to be all original.
Well loved condition with plenty of signs of wear and tear as pictured. The frets have some pitting but are shiny and play smoothly with some life left, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts well. A real players-grade beast.
