Japanese made in 1991, the Ibanez 540S Saber was the predecessor of the famous S series and is known for it's slim, sleek body design. Bright Lipstick Red finish on a mahogany body with a maple Wizard neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.2kg's. Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo system along with the original F2 humbucker in the bridge and a pair of C2 stacked single coils in the neck and middle positions controlled by master volume/tone knobs and a 5-way blade switch.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and electronics flush. The frets show light wear but play smoothly with minimal pitting, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
