Made in Japan in the early 1990's, the SL-140 was a high end Soloist model from the Charvel Jackson catalog. Neckthrough maple design with poplar wings and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with the original J-80C/J-50 humbucker combination and the original Charvel branded Floyd Rose system, it looks to be factory original as pictured. JE-0005 blade selector switch offers coil splitting options in positions 2 and 4 and the active Mid-boost control enables super thick, ripping tones.
Good overall condition as pictured with a few cosmetic issues on the headstock as pictured. No structural issues or repairs, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life.
