Made in Japan during the 1990's, the VG-STD "Violin Standard" was a reasonably uncommon model in the Yamaha catalogs. Mahogany body with a maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale, 13.75" radius), it weighs 3.2kg's. Loaded with YGSB-A1C P90 Alnico V pickups and Yamaha branded hardware, this one appears all original.
Very clean condition as pictured, professionally serviced prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss works well, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
