Made in Japan under the eye of the Swiss company famous for their high quality electronics, this Levinson Blade is a highly modified and well loved RR-4. Two piece Southern White Ash body with a slim maple neck and 22 fret ebony fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Transparent Red finish to show off the beautiful grain, it's loaded with four Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups (in a HSS format) controlled by master volume and tone knobs and a 5-way pickup selector and a "pickup character" mini toggle to boost the overall signal. Other mods include the removal of the active EQ (not included), a replacement bridge and installation of Sperzel locking tuners.
These are exceptionally well built guitars and play/sound as good as they look. Good used condition for a 30+ year old guitar, basic signs of wear and tear as pictured with plenty of mild buckle rash and some scuffs/dings over the body and neck. Neck is straight and the frets are shiny and smooth, truss works as it should and it was restrung prior to listing along with a fret polish and truss adjustment.
