A close relative to the Jazz Bass Special that Duff famously used, the PJ-455 was made in the late 1980's as part of Fender Japan's E Series of instruments. Alder body with PJ pickups bolted to a Precision bass neck (maple and rosewood, full scale length), it weighs 3.8kg's.
Good vintage condition with basic signs of wear, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard clean and oil, truss adjustments and electronics lube/flush. The neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss and the frets have plenty of life left.
