Made in Japan in 1989 as part of the famous "E Series" from Fender Japan, the ST72-55 was a mid-tier '72 reissue model aimed at replicating the CBS era Stratocaster. Solid Sen Ash body with a natural finish bolted to a maple neck with a three-bolt neck plate, oversized headstock and a bullet truss adjuster. Loaded with the original Fender Japan pickups and full sized pots and Gotoh tuners, it weighs 3.6kg's.
Received a full professional setup prior to listing, it plays well with a straight neck and life in the vintage frets. There's some cosmetic wear and tear as pictured but no breaks or repairs.
