Made by the Fujigen factory in 1989 as part of the critically acclaimed "E Series" from Fender Japan, the ST72-75 was an "unofficial" Yngwie Malmsteen model (that was made an official signature model a few years later). Solid basswood body with a faded Olympic White finish bolted to a scalloped maple neck (7.25" radius), this one weighs 3.3kg's.
Full CBS era vibe with a three-bolt neck plate with a micro-tilt adjuster and bullet truss rod on an oversized headstock, this one seems to be all original with Gotoh tuners and Fender Japan ST-Current alnico single coils.
Good overall condition for it's age with plenty of basic wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. Restrung and serviced prior to listing including a truss adjustment and fret polish. The neck is straight and plays well, the frets have some light wear but are shiny and smooth.
