Japanese made in the late 1980's, these SAS models were smaller bodied semi-hollow designed that are similar in size to a Gibson ES-339. The SAS-1 was their highest end offering with a birdseye maple body and back, birch center-block, slim profile mahogany neck with a 22 fret ebony fingerboard (628mm scale, 13.75" radius), it weighs 3.3kg's.
Looks to be all original with a TSG 1G bridge, GHIG Live Alnico 5 humbuckers with master volume/tone knobs and a coil split push pull along with Yamaha branded tuners.
Very clean condition, overall it's a very impressive 80's guitar. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should. The frets have some light pitting and playwear but still have plenty of life.
