Made in the Fujigen factory as part of Fender Japan's famous "E Series", the ST-456 features a black basswood body bolted to a maple neck and weighs 3.6kg's. With a HSS pickup loadout and master volume/tone controls, these were designed to give a slightly simplified modern take on the classic Stratocaster.
Reasonably good used condition with signs of wear as pictured and a few cosmetic dings, the frets have some light wear but were polished and play smoothly with no issues, the truss was adjusted prior to listing along with a restring and basic setup.
This is one of a handful of guitars handpicked by our tech Vaughan on his recent buying trip. He was pretty fussy on this trip and has given a full once-over to all of these guitars to make sure they play as good as they look!
