Japanese made in the late 1980's, the SFX guitars were a signature series for Kyoji Yamamoto. The SFX-II was the mid tier model in the range, featuring a mahogany set-neck construction with a basswood body, bound maple top and rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, 628mm scale length), it weighs 4kg's. The original Rocking Magic II locking tremolo system has been replaced with a silver version (from an SFX-III) and the original pair of Power Guerrilla rail humbuckers controlled by master volume/tone knobs sound great.
Good vintage condition with a few light signs of wear. Frets are smooth with very light play wear, the neck is straight and the truss works as it should.
