Made by the Fujigen factory in 1987, the SR1000E was one of the first SDGR models released and was produced in their first year of manufacturing. With a faded dark blue finish (that looks almost black now) on the alder body bolted to a maple neck with a 24 fret ebony fingerboard (43mm nut width, 34" scale length), it weighs 3.8kg's.
Loaded with the original Dimarzio IBZ/USA C2 pickups, "Power Curve" electronics system (with an EQ and balancer), Gotoh tuners and an Omni-Adjusted bridge, it appears to be all original.
Good vintage condition as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life left, the hardware has some rust and patina but all adjusts as it should.
