Japanese made in 1987 as part of the famous "E Series" from Fender, the TL72-55 is a beautiful example of a vintage '72 Reissue Telecaster. Natural finish on an ash body bolted to a slim C profile maple neck (43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with Fender Japan TL-SINGLE pickups, a three-point ashtray style bridge and Fender Japan stamped tuners, this one appears to be all original.
Good vintage condition as pictured with plenty of cosmetic wear to the neck and body but no breaks or repairs. The frets have some playwear but are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss rod. The "Made in Japan" insignia on the neck heel has been removed by a previous owner but the serial is still on the headstock.
