Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan in 1987 as part of the famous " "E Series" run of high quality Japanese guitars, the Fender ST72-125PRD was a limited edition models in the "Collectors Series" catalog. Designed as a '72 Reissue with all CBS style features including a three-bolt neckplate and F stamped Schaller style tuners, it wears a beautiful gold foiled "Pink Paisley" with a nitrocellulose finish.
Built with a White Ash body bolted to a maple neck (7.25" radius) and this one weighs 3.5kg's. Seemingly all original as pictured with Fender ST-Current alnico single coils and full-size pots.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, truss adjustment and restring. The neck is straight and the truss works well, the frets are vintage gauge but are shiny and smooth with minimal pitting. There's one small ding on the body and a few signs of wear to the fingerboard as pictured but overall it's in very clean condition for a 40 year old guitar.
