Made in Japan in 1986 to compete with the popular Jackson and Charvel superstrat models of the time, this is a custom order one-off JJ-1S model that was ordered from the Fujigen factory for a customer.
Wearing a bright metallic pink finish and featuring the "Order Made" stamp in the neck pocket (like many custom Fender Japan models of the era), it features a solid Dinky style body bolted to a painted maple neck and a 24 fret bound rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), weighs 3.4kg's. This is the only one we've ever seen that's loaded with a non-locking nut and a Stratocaster style tremolo system as all other JJ models featured a Kahler with a locking nut.
HSS pickups (two Jackson single coils and a Maxon humbucker) controlled by independent three-way mini toggles and master volume/tone controls along with Grover tuners, it appears all original.
Very clean vintage condition as pictured with only basic wear and tear from general use, received a setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny with some light wear but plenty of life left.
