A very early model from the Fernandes Revolver series made in Japan in 1986. The FR-55 features an alder body with a Brad Gillis style red & black finish, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 13.75" radius, 610mm scale length), this one weighs 3.5kg's. VH-5 "Brown Sugar" humbucker with VS-3 single coil in the middle and a generic neck pickup controlled by master volume/tone knobs and a 3-way selector. The original Fernandes Body Crasher locking tremolo system keeps tune well.
Very nice vintage condition and presents very nicely for an 80's build. Given a full professional setup and service, the finish is clean with light signs of wear, the frets are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss.
