Made in Japan in 1986 as part of the famous Fender Japan "E Series", this JG66 Jaguar was listed in the catalog as a "Limited Edition" model from Fender's "Collectors" series. 1980's Fender Japan reissue models are now 40 years old (crazy huh) and are becoming highly desirable among the vintage guitar community that are priced out of USA builds.
Alder body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius, 43mm nut width, 610mm scale length), it weighs 3.8kg's. Looks to be all original with vintage style tuners and Fender Japan pickups.
Well loved condition with basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. Recently serviced, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets have some wear but still plenty of life.
