Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory as part of the Fender "E Series" of the mid 1980's. The ST62 features a basswood body bolted to a slim profile maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius) and weighs 3.5kg's. The previous owner swapped the pickguard out to a single ply black guard and the pickups for some passive EMG (by Yamaha) single coils for a crystal clear tone and classy look.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life left.
