Part of Tokai's MAT series of guitars built with their "new Fiber Tech" fiberglass-style material, these were introduced in 1985 and marketed with a very high price tag to "perfectly meet the needs of professionals".
"Crackle" finish on a chambered fiberglass body bolted to a solid fiberglass neck with a rosewood fingerboard (22 frets and a 15.75" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. These were only made for a year or so before being discontinued so are exceptionally rare!
Very clean overall vintage condition with basic signs of wear and tear with a few cosmetic dings to be seen, restrung and given a basic service and restring prior to listing. The pickups have been swapped with what look like Schecter single coils and a generic humbucker and this one has a Stratocaster style tremolo system.
