Inspired by the famous George Harrison rosewood Telecaster from the late 1960's, the TL69-98 was made by the Fujigen factory in 1985 and is one of Fender Japan's most iconic reissue models. Chambered rosewood body with a maple pancake layer in the middle with a solid rosewood neck and fingerboard (42mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs a very reasonable 4.3kg's. Appears to be all original with a six-saddle bridge, Japanese pickups and wiring and Gotoh tuners.
Very clean overall condition as pictured with the exception of some separation along the maple pancake layer on one side. The guitar has spent most of it's life in storage in Brisbane and has likely shifted with the humidity, nothing structural and could likely be shaved and re-finished in the area if it bothers you. Other than that defect the guitar is beautiful and is perfect for a player or as a display piece (since the separation isn't visible from the front).
