An exceedingly rare SG model made in Japan from late 1984 through 1985, the Yamaha SG1300TS has a slimmer profile than the original SG design and features a full blackout aesthetic.
Solid mahogany body with a maple top set to a slim profile maple/mahogany neck and a 22 fret ebony fingerboard (13.75" radius, 43mm nut width), it weighs 4.2kg's. Loaded the original Spinex humbuckers and a Rockin' Magic locking tremolo system, these were designed for pure 80's fun.
Good overall used condition with light wear from general use but no breaks or repairs. Received a full professional setup prior to listing, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the truss adjusts freely. The push/pull coil split was replaced along with a new locking pad otherwise it appears all original.
