Made in Japan as part of the famous JV series of "Contemporary" models released in the mid 1980's. This appears to be a non-catalog model with a super funky HSS pickup loadout and master volume control. Solid basswood body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs 3.6kg's.
Plenty of bumps and bruises from years of loving use, received a full setup and service prior to listing and plays nicely despite the cosmetic flaws. The neck is straight and the truss works well, the frets are worn but are shiny and play smooth.
