Made in Japan as part of the famed NJ Series in the mid 1980's. Full neckthrough construction with a shiny Candy Apple Red finish, the warlock bass has a solid alder body, maple neck and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and weighs 5kg's.
Heavily modified with the original vari-tone electronics bypassed (untested) and the pickups swapped out for a set of EMG's. There's a gold Badass bridge installed too along with some routing for the rear strap pin.
The neck and body have some pretty gnarly paint cracks from the thick glossy red finish, we've put some significant pressure on them and they don't appear to be structural at all with no movement in the wood. Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing, the neck is straight and plays well with shiny frets and a fully functional truss.
