Made for only 12 months between 1982 and 1983, the SS600 was part of Yamaha's Samurai Series. Made in Japan using an alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 648mm scale length), this one weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with three single coils controlled by master volume/tone knobs and a 5-way pickup selector, appears to be all original.
Good vintage condition, received a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the frets are shiny with some wear but plenty of life left.
