Made in Japan by Yamaha in the mid 1980's, the LP-400 was the entry level Les Paul model sold to the Japanese market featuring the full Gibson aesthetic. Agathis body with a maple top and brown sunburst finish, set mahogany neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (13.75" radius, slim 60's profile), weighs 3.9kg's. Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers with Kluson-style vintage tuners, it appears all original.
Nice honest used vintage condition as pictured with basic signs of wear for it's age. Restrung and given a service prior to listing, the neck is in good condition and the truss works as it should. The frets have plenty of wear but are shiny and play smoothly as it sits. The D tuner is slightly bent and there's a small chip in the nut, neither impacts on stability or tuning.
