Part of the acclaimed "JV" series of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in Japan in the early 1980's, this is a Squier SST-30 model from the 1983 catalog. Aged white finish on a basswood body bolted to a very nice maple neck with a slab 21 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's.
The original Fender Japan ceramic single coils sound great and the wiring appears to be all original, there's a new set of knobs installed and two new pots otherwise it appears to be all original.
Good vintage condition as pictured with signs of wear from general use. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny and smooth with life left and it received a full professional setup prior to listing.
