Made in Fullerton, CA in 1983, a Dan Smith era Stratocaster is a great affordable American vintage option. Solid alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius, 43.5mm nut width), it weighs 3.9kg's.
Loaded with the original pickups, hardware and includes the original hardcase. Good vintage condition as pictured with some general wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The medium frets have plenty of life left and play smoothly and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss rod.

From Reverb.com:
Fender underwent a lot of changes as a company, and some of those changes can be represented by the Fender Dan Smith Stratocaster. In the early '80s, Fender's marketing director Dan Smith decided to upgrade the Strat with a smaller headstock and pre-CBS era neck plate. Unfortunately, the guitar only survived production for three years.
