Made in Japan in 1981, this is a rare L-5ES model that was an L-5 with a factory installed pickup and preamp. Solid spruce top, laminate rosewood back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard and a mahogany neck with a nicely pronounced V profile.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear, received a restring and professional setup prior to listing including a fret polish and fretboard oil. The saddle has plenty of room left for adjustment and the neck angle is good with no need for a reset.
