Made in Japan for a short period of time around 1981, the SF3000 was part of the second generation of Super Flighter models and was sold only within Japan. Solid alder body with a set slim maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (13.75" radius, 628mm scale length, 44mm nut width), it weighs a nimble 3.2kg's. Loaded with a single Yamaha F-III humbucker controlled by volume/tone knobs and a push/pull coil split, this one seems to be all original with the exception of a brand new bone nut.
Clean vintage condition with a few bumps and light signs of wear, frets have some medium playwear but were polished prior to listing and play well as they sit, the truss was adjusted and the neck is straight.
