Made in Japan in 1981, the Ibanez RS824 was one of the simple pleasures from the Roadstar Bass series. Solid ash body with a maple neck and 24 fret rock maple fingerboard (34" scale length), it weighs 3.8kg's. Loaded with the original Super P/J-4 pickup configuration, Accu-Cast B bridge with brass saddles and Hercules B tuners, it appears to be close to all original with some replacement knobs.
Good vintage condition as pictured with light wear and tear but no breaks or repairs, received a full professional setup and service prior to listing. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left.
