The BL70 features a mahogany body bolted to a maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard with black dot position markers. Components include a trio of Ibanez Blazer SB blade-style single coil pickups mounted in a black pickguard with a phase switch for the middle pickup, a machined brass fixed bridge and Super Tuner II machine heads.
