Appearing in the Greco Mint Collection catalog from the early 1980's, the EGF850 was a "Super Real" model that did a great job of replicating the 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard in terms of aesthetic, feel and sound (with the added benefit of Japanese craftsmanship).
Solid mahogany body with a veneer flame maple top (hence the F in the model number), slim 60's style mahogany neck (that get's a little thicker towards the 12th fret) and a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.1kg's. Original Maxon PAF humbuckers and vintage style tuners give this the '60's look and sound. Appears to be all original as pictured.
This one has a professional headstock repair as pictured along with some cosmetic cracking of the laminate on the top of the body, no structural issues though and all the repairs were done professionally and are solid with no movement. Restrung and professionally serviced prior to listing including a deep clean, it plays smoothly with shiny frets and a straight neck.
