According to their catalog, "Rockoon is the high performance guitar created by the skilled and uncompromising craftsmanship of Kawai". Essentially these are the boutique style range from Kawai (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's.
Made in the late 1980's, the RB-61PJ was built with a USA white ash body bolted to a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (34" scale length) and weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with Schaller pickups and a Gotoh bridge along with Gotoh tuners, this one appears all original and is in good used condition as pictured. Restrung and given a basic service, the neck is straight an the truss adjusts as it should.
