Made in Japan by Kawai in the early 1980's, the AQ-555 was a triple humbucker beast with a very fun body shape. Solid alder body with a maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (42mm, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.7kg's. Three Schaller-made humbuckers with three-way mini toggles on each along with a master volume/tone control, it appears to be all original as pictured.
Good used condition, received a basic setup and service prior to listing. The frets are shiny with light wear and plenty of life left, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should.
