Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-2000 was considered the holy grail of SG's by many and was the model of choice for Carlos Santana and John Frusciante.

Weighing in at 4.8kg's, it's built with a mahogany body, maple top, slim 60's mahogany thru-neck and an ebony fretboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, 43mm nut width).

This one has an aftermarket Kahler style tremolo system professionally installed to go with the original tuners and original SGH-1SOB pickups.

Well used vintage condition as pictured with a few chips on the neck and body and general signs of cosmetic wear from use, no structural repairs or breaks. Received a professional setup and service including a fret polish and electronics service. Frets are in solid condition for it's age and have life left.
