Considered by many as an upgrade to the standard Les Paul design, the Yamaha SG series are some of the fullest sounding guitars you'll ever play. This SG-2000 was considered the holy grail of SG's by many and was the model of choice for Carlos Santana and John Frusciante.
Weighing in at 4.5kg's, it's built with a mahogany body, maple top, slim 60's mahogany thru-neck and an ebony fretboard (12" radius, 628mm scale length, 43mm nut width). Professionally routed at some point for a Floyd Rose (currently a TRS-101) coupled with the original Yamaha branded tuners and some generic unbranded pickups.
