Made in Japan by Yamaha in the late 1970's, the SF-1000 was the highest end model in the Super Flighter range of unique double cutaway style models (that could be vaguely compared to a hybrid between an Epiphone Wilshire and a Fender Stratocaster).
Alder/maple body with a set maple neck and 24 fret ebony fingerboard, weighs 4.5kg's. This one was professionally routed and modified for a Yamaha locking tremolo system and the work is flawless.
Nice used vintage condition as pictured with basic signs of wear for it's age. Frets are shiny and play smooth with some light pitting/play wear, truss works well and the neck is straight. Hardware all adjusts as it should and the pots were flushed and move smoothly.
