A true Greco rarity that looks to be the result of someone having some fun in the Fujigen factory. We've got what appears to be a GOIII-1800 (Greco's highest end Speedway model) that was factory modded with different wiring, Seymour Duncan SH1N/TB5 pickups, a Kahler style tremolo and Ibanez branded tuners. We've found one online that sold within Japan (check the pics) that had almost identical mods and has a serial number that is only one digit off this one, leading us to believe they left the factory like this.
Regardless of what the origin is, this is an incredibly cool high-end piece of Greco/Fujigen history! Professionally serviced prior to listing, it's playing nicely with a straight neck, adjustable truss and plenty of life in the frets. Weighs 4.3kg's.
