Made in Japan by the Matsumoku factory in 1979, the TS-500 features a solid ash body with a maple/walnut center set to a slim profile maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard and weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the original Protomatic humbuckers controlled by a three way pickup selector and three mini toggles for coil splits and phase switching.
Good vintage condition as pictured with plenty of basic cosmetic wear from general use but no breaks or repairs. The frets have some playwear but are shiny and smooth and the neck is straight with a fully adjustable truss rod.
